An Obby ID is the identifier for a player creation. It is not a gift code. Use it when someone sends you a course to play, or when you want players to open yours.
Load a creation
- Open Load Obby from the experience.
- Search by Obby ID, creation name, or builder.
- Select the match and load it.
- Use Build for your own slots and the play side of the inspect screen for someone else's course.
On 9 October 2026 the load screen labels changed to make this clearer: "My Obbies" became Build, and "All" became Players Love. The Recommended Obbies row that had been added on 21 November 2025 was removed on 9 October 2026 because it was filling with blank obbies. If an older guide tells you to open Recommended, that row is gone.
Featured gates were also changed that day. Each featured gate includes a statue of the obby owner, and the statue shows whether the course is Featured or Trending. Featured obbies already refreshed on their own after 27 October 2024: a gate with players inside does not refresh, and the refresh time was cut from 15 minutes to 10 minutes. Those rules were not restated in 2026, so treat the statue change as the newer fact and the 10-minute refresh as the last stated timing.
Share your own ID
After the course is saved in your slot, the load or inspect screen is where other players get the ID. Put the ID in the description you share outside the game. Players still have to be in Obby Creator to load it.
You can favourite creations. A bug that let players favourite more than 20 was fixed on 23 January 2026, so plan on a 20 favourite cap unless the game shows a different number.
Sponsored gates are not the same as Featured
From 9 October 2026, each server has two gates for sponsored obbies. For 9 Robux, your obby is loaded onto that gate in that server for 1 hour. It is a local spotlight, not a permanent feature and not a global leaderboard placement. On 10 October 2026 one sponsored obby was moved so the pair sits centered, and client objects inside sponsored obbies were fixed.
Likes and featuring
Other players like a creation from the course. Likes feed the creator leaderboards and the like milestones that add part limit. Featuring is a separate gate system. On 15 January 2025 the developer reduced the chance of a Build Battle creation showing as Featured from 4% to 3%. Later logs do not restate that percentage.
There is no published checklist that guarantees a featured slot. A course that other players can finish, with a working spawn and a readable theme, is the part you control.
